Orginally written 04/02:
There are a few events left in this pregnancy (a wedding and some baby sales and C is running a half marathon this weekend) but we had Addy's party on Saturday and I'm glad that we won't be hosting any more of them. I'm pretty sure she had a really good time and it was great to have everyone over, but I was exhausted after that.
The nursery is back together! I'm so happy about that! We just need to hang some things on the walls and I need to paint her letters and we'll be all set! We should probably pick up some newborn size diapers to have on hand but we're in good shape. Oh, and I need to take apart the car seat and wash it.
We've still got 7 weeks to go (obviously) so we won't be packing a bag or anything until the beginning of May. But that's not that far away when you think about it. So crazy that we're getting so close!
How far along?: 33 weeks
Total weight gain/loss: Oh my gosh. Ok, I promised myself I would always be honest, so on Friday I was +7 pounds! Now, I've been weighing myself since then and I've been consistently 2-3lbs under that so I'm blaming water weight for half of it. We ate out more than usual last week and I think I had so much salt in me. Taking off 3 lbs for water, I'm up 22lbs for the whole pregnancy. I see no reason I won't hit the 30lb mark.
The Bump: I still feel huge but occasionally I see other pregnant people and remind myself that we still have a ways to go.
What I’m excited about/looking forward to: I'm excited to officially have the nursery done. We never did a "nursery" with Addy so it's exciting!
Maternity Clothes: Yup, I'm in them. Pretty much all the time except for sweats.
Symptoms: Heartburn, fatigue and now hip/sciatic pain that comes and goes. Sometimes it's so bad I'm liping.
Belly Button in or out?: In. I don't see this changing.
Food Cravings/Aversions: Ice cream. It's one pregnancy sterotype that's absolutely true.
What I miss: Walking without pain. Being able to do simple tasks like carry a laundry basket.
Milestones: Silly ones but the nursery being put back together and pre-registering for the hospital.
Check on the car seat thing, but I thought I read somewhere that you're not actually supposed to wash them with any thing other than water. I think it was something about it removed the "fire-proofing" that the fabric had.
ReplyDeleteI had the limping pain with Danni! It was so horrible! I had to walk up 3 flights of stairs to my classroom... a couple of my co-workers were wondering if I was going to make it! lol I ended up staying home from work that week before she was born, because it got so bad I could hardly move! :( I hope yours doesn't get that bad.
